Surfside

Surfside’s claim to fame is that no home is more than 75 feet from the sand! What a life! Surfside Colony is a guard gated community that sits on the Pacific Ocean in north Orange County. There are approximately 260 single family homes. Surfside is part of Seal Beach but retains its own zip code and has its own post office.

The homes are arranged in 3 rows. The “A” row is on the sand. The “B” row sits directly behind the “A” row with a small road between, and the few “C” row homes all have views of the back bay and wetlands. Home styles range from original beach cottages to large three story custom homes.

Surfside Colony has a casual beach culture with many current residents that have resided there for decades. Favorite beach activities are surfing, kitesurfing, beach volleyball, walking the long, quiet stretch of sand and simply soaking in the sun and cool beach vibe.
